Women's Ministry

The women's ministry of Redeemer Hoboken endeavours to encourage the women of Redeemer Hoboken in their walk with Christ, provide opportunities for fellowship, and nurture relationships among Christian women all through organized activities such as retreats, conferences, fellowship, prayer and social activities. In all this we desire to allow God's glory to shine through our lives as Daughters of Christ.

Some upcoming events this winter will be Women Eat Chocolate and the Women's Auction. We will have a chocolate fondue party on February, 12th, "Women Eat Chocolate". With this indulgent event we hope to create an environment for women to connect to one another, encourage one another and enjoy the sweetness of unity in Christ. We will have a Women's Auction on March 28th, where we auction off clothing, books, music to one another in order to raise money. This is a chance to get some great clothes and other items for a bargain while simultaneously supporting a great cause! In the past we have raised hundreds of dollars which we donated to In Jesus Name Charities, New City Kids Church and Katrina Relief.

The Women's Ministry has an annual retreat in the Fall at Frost Valley Retreat Center in Claryville, NY. The purpose of this retreat is to set aside time to focus on God, experience God's presence, learn from scripture through the Holy Spirit, worship God, and build intimacy and unity among women of Redeemer Hoboken. We also have Monthly Women's Prayer Breakfasts which attain to biblically encourage the female population of our church and allow new females of our congregation to connect and establish relationships.
