I have enjoyed participating in the life of Redeemer Hoboken over the past several months and getting to know many of you personally. Pastor Tony and I have been colleagues for many years and I appreciate all his support while I have worked through some difficult personal challenges.
For the last year I worked as a truck driver for Federal Express and as an independent home improvement contractor. Prior to this I served as a minister for over two decades. During this time I founded Hope Church in Randolph, New Jersey and served as the senior pastor there from 1998 until last year. While leading the church I enjoyed direct involvement with the student, mercy, and outreach ministries.
For the last 8 years I have led a team of students and adults on overseas mission trips. I also spent 12 years as the leader of the Mission Team for the New York Metro Presbytery, which oversees all the church plants in the region.
I have four amazing daughters: Emily lives and works in New York City, Lizzy is in college in Florida, Esther is in 12th grade and Ellie is in 8th grade.
While my life has taken some unexpected turns in the last few years, God has been with with me every step of the way. I am thankful that He has brought me to Redeemer Hoboken and I’m eager to discover what the next chapter will bring.
