Why We Worship

We seek to praise and exalt the name of the Lord and to encourage those in attendance.

Our music program offers an eclectic mix of styles, including traditional, contemporary, classical, jazz, gospel and bluegrass. At any given service one might hear special music by Amy Grant, Matt Redman, Casting Crowns, Israel Houghton, Bob Dylan, Alison Krauss, Mendelssohn or Vivaldi. By embracing different musical forms, we hope to reflect on the infinite glories of God and engage the hearts of a diverse congregation.

Our Music Team

We are fortunate to have a number of professional musicians who lend their talents to the music ministry. Their backgrounds range from Broadway and Lincoln Center to jazz clubs, rock clubs and recording studios.

As a way to keep focused and inspired, the music team meets fairly regularly. This is our time to encourage one another, discuss how the Gospel influences our lives as artists and brainstorm ideas for future events. It’s always good food and good fellowship.

Want to get involved?

Our gospel choir is open to anyone who would like to sing and performs at two special concerts as well as a Christmas concert each year. Instrumentalists are always needed and welcome. Contact Chris or Katie if you'd like to learn more.
