We are glad you are interested in our church. Here is a summary of what to expect on a typical Sunday at Redeemer Hoboken.
Service and Location
Order of Service
In most services, our liturgy (order of service) includes Scripture reading, prayer, singing, a sermon, and the Lord’s Supper.
We use a range of music styles including traditional, contemporary, classical, jazz, gospel and bluegrass. By embracing different musical forms, we hope to reflect on the infinite glories of God and engage the hearts of a diverse congregation.
Dress is casual.
People often say that the centerpiece of our church is the relationships formed within our walls. This is how we thrive in the city and our faith journey. We love fostering community, whether that means catching up after the service, gathering for a special event, or meeting during the week at a Fellowship Group.
We are a growing church who loves families and kids. Redeemer Hoboken offers children’s Sunday classes for infants through 5th grade during our service. We also have Moms Groups that meet during the week.
Help Outside of Service
Our Diaconate (mercy team) exists to welcome and assist those going through a difficult time.
