Who We Are and What We Do
The Diaconate is a specially appointed group whose main goal is to reach out to those who are in a crisis or challenging circumstance. We express in practical ways Christ's command to all believers to love our neighbor as ourselves.
We help in assessing needs and working together to find solutions. Sometimes that means delivering weekly meals, other times it means giving someone a ride or helping with a more serious issue like financial devastation.
By working together, lives are changed. Despair is turned into joy. Mourning into dancing. And fear into hope.
If you or someone you know is in need of our ministry, contact diaconate@redeemerhoboken.com.
